Hey guys, have used this faucet mount filter for years, they always leaked at the old swivel after a year or two. Then, they went to the one click style, looks nice works well, but.......... My faucet is the fine thread with exterior threads, #1 adapter. It's plastic, filter flew off in a month, I emailed them, they sent a " NEW" adapter, it has a metal sleeve pressed into it. 4 of those have leaked in, 1 day, 3 days, 2 weeks, and almost a month. I have 9 spare filters! I bought a new unit, start over at Target yesterday, $16.99, leaked in ten min. Ideas? time to switch brands?

Ok, gave up. I switched to Brita, even though I have 8 Pur filters in the garage. I had bought yet another new unit at Target, 3 weeks, major leaks. Back it went today and the Brita was still sale priced from last week, made the switch. It looks nice, not as smooth a flow of water out either side, less flow too. What can you do?

This is just a faucet mount on a wall hung 40s era faucet, need the filter, I drink a lot of water, but boy has their redesign caused trouble for me.
