Proof book for Kirby Tradition?

Does anyone have a copy of the Kirby salesman's proof book for the Tradition model? Was there also a songbook for salesmen of that era? (I saw in another thread a songbook for the Kirby Heritage model.) If there is a Tradition proof book, I would love to see the entire thing, thanks!

The folder cover would've been dark blue in color (just like the vacuum's trim color) and would have had the Kirby logo without the "Classic III" on it. Below that are the words "Quality, Reliability, Performance" in Helvetica font. That would be the first clue.

James B. (kirbymodel2c) has one but it has pages for the Ultimate G model in it instead.

I'm looking for the proof-book of a Kirby Classic 111.

I'm sure there'll be several members at the convention who have them. I suspect we'll start the meeting with a rousing chorus of 'Roll out the Kirby!' Will be glad to sing that again, among others.

The color of the folder for the Classic III proof book is dark red (again, to match the trim color of the cleaner). It has the Kirby Classic III logo and the words "Quality, Reliability, Performance" below.

Yes, I know. I used one for the entire run of that model, as well as the Classic Omega before it, and the Tradition after it, plus many others, and used them in training classes.


 


The reason I want the Classic 111 is because I have one, and just got my dirt meter. I want to have a demo kit as complete as I can get one. Obviously, the contracts and other paperwork will not be in it, but I want to be able to recreate the demo of the Classic 111 using my Electrolux LX as the machine I'm trying to pull.


 


If I can bring this demo kit to the convention, great, if no, no big deal. However, I want everything Classic 111 here with me.

I also wonder if among your Kirby literature-related stash, there are service manuals for the Classic III and Tradition?

With regards to the Tradition, the early models used a speed switch under the headlight cap, which itself had a lock on it so the cleaner wouldn't run unless the light cap was firmly locked down toward the device attached to the front.
