1. The hose and pn should easily go together with no problems.

2. I would check just to make sure that the hose recommended will fit your Henry. I believe they all have the same inlet attachment on the body, but I don't know all the models. I'm sure someone else could tell you more.

3. do you have more pics of your machine inlet?

4. Nilfisk- I have no idea. The power nozzle above is universal. You most likely could use it with that, too. The hose recommended above is universal with the exception of the machine end. I have no idea what the machine end is on the Nilfisk. Someone else could probably tell you more.

numatic vs nilfisk

Well I learned a few things this morning. The GD2000 doesn't have an electric hose it uses an external cable to power it's nozzle. It also uses seemingly uses a proprietary version of the EBK280 Which isn't a bad powerhead it's just probably not ideal for all the pet hair since it's brushroll is pretty soft and small in diameter making it prone to hair tangles. From what searching i've done it also appears the nilfisk nozzle is incredibly expensive i'm seeing like upper 300s or more

And these specs may not be applicable to your Numatic seeing as it's probably older than these specs but i'm seeing the NVQ380 rated at 48 lps and 23 kpa and the GD2000 at 36 lps and 23 kpa. So while similar in lift the numatic should have stronger airflow.

So reading these things I would suggest upgrading your Numatic.

So replying at like 4 something in the morning isn't a great idea looking at the parts again I think the cable is already built into the power nozzle it does look pretty long and when you search for the cable you see a plug on one end and just wires on the other meaning it's most likely a replacement wire for the nozzle itself.

Now getting back to the nozzle

SO I contacted a vacuum dealer in Ottawa that is a nilfisk rep. Nice guy. He is "creating" a powerhead for me. He has several nilfisk powerheads, he is rewiring one for me as we speak to be compatible. I'm also going to purchase one for my Nacecare. Ill use one upstairs and the other downstairs. My other option was to purchase an upright like a sanitaire traditional with the metal housing. But, I believe that a commercial canister like I have is the best so ill bite the bullet and go for it. The powerhead for the nilfisk will be about 350$ Canadian. Ill post some pics. Ive had a kirby and a rainbow , but I think this is the right option. Ive got some old hoover convertibles from the 80' still in unopened boxes, and a few kenmore canisters that are olive green with wood paneling in unopened boxes. I know nothing about them, it's such a long drawn out story why I have them, but I'm going to put them on ebay just so get of them. Id love your advice. Thank you to everyone for the advice.

Here goes

Well.. long story short.
My grandparents were immigrants from Eastern Europe and opened a small department store that eventually became a very very very large department store in the 70's and 80's. My grandfather also had a liquidation store. Whatever he could buy bulk he resold as well as anything that didn't sell in his main store he'd sell there. He also had a 20,000sqft "warehouse". Somehow in the 1970's he purchased in bulk Kenmore appliances from a store that either closed or burned, or something , and he put all that stuff in storage. In the late 80's he shut his large store and whatever he could not sell off he put in storage. He passed away last year at 98, and his warehouse full of untouched merchandise...32 years or so...was left to me. I'm paying insane storage fees so...im trying to sell off what I can before I donate 30+year old appliances that are new, but old. It bothers me a bit... I had an ad on Kijiji, (not sure you have that in the U.S.) but I was offering free new appliances and furniture to anyone in need provided they picked up and delivery ect..I had all of 6 people respond in a polite way. I had a liquidator contact me an offer me 5k for everything (that did not end well). One family that took a new washer and dryer told me they were going to sue me because they were not HE.. I am a lawyer so that did not end well....So...There is my story. lol.

Great story, thanks. It's amazing how some people had hardware stores, etc. After they passed, relatives had to liquidate everything.
There was a family owned hardware store on my Main Street. The hubby died yrs ago. His wife, Helen, recently passed. The kids liquidated everything in one fell swoop, to list the property for sale.
I always bought there. I'd love to have been able to see what was still there.
In a neighboring town, a similar thing. The family found NIB Hoover Convertibles...as, a lot of hardware stores sold vacuums.
