Electrolux CA.
Hi Kenny:
I just saw your video and that seems to be the correct hose. Actually, there were two, the first is what you have, and yes, it would be extra-long as it was designed for commercial use. As to the other hose, it was rubber, and designed for wet pick-up.
The CA (Commercial Automatic) was introduced between 1962 and 64, and I had the opportunity to test one of the first ones. As you may know I lived in Connecticut and my grandfather was House Director for The Choate School here in Wallingford. Knowing I was into Electrolux's he brought this home for me to try out. That was one of the red-letter days of my childhood.
You probably don't have the instruction book, but that's easy to get. Go to the Library section and select 'Vacuum cleaners' then scroll down to 'Electrolux' there are I think four manuals you can chose from, Models XXX, LX, G, L, and the CA, and download it. Here you can see all the features this Electrolux had both as a standard vacuum cleaner for offices and so on, and also as a wet/dry machine.
As to the power Nozzle, any one will do, the trick is to find a cord long enough. Perhaps getting two and connecting them. The correct hose for this would be for the model G which is the same color. Should you be a purist as I am, all attachments for the G are correct.
I hope this points you in the right direction.
Alex Taber.
