Yes, you're right about the Heritage II being powerful. Still, I have to laugh when I watch this video. Shame they had to ruin a '72 bug though....

I love the Heritage

Just after high school I bought a Heritage from a local thrift store. I had it serviced and while it was in the shop I had them change the bag to the H2 bag(I wanted the L2 bag, they were out). I used that vacuum daily for several years. When I got my first G3 I gave the Heritage to my sister-in-law(she hated it and traded it for a bagless Sanyo when I had my vac shop). I wish I still had it(that and several others).
The Heritage did look better in the H2 bag. I can't stand orange.

I going to start polishing my Legend II and Tradition soon, not sure what to use.

I think I will use Mother's on one and Simichrome on the other. The any scratchers on either machine, but they do have "age spots" as I call them, and if I remember correctly someone said to use 000 steel wool?

You did a great job, she looks as good as new!

I use a polishing compound usually made for plastics, as well as a light wax such as turtle wax

And using a very light grade sandpaper in soapy water really does the trick too before you use compounds...it really gets the grime right outta the metal!
