I am really liking this machine. I finished cleaning it up today. It is in good condition; you can actually read the GE logo. I am so tempted to find touchup paint as there is some surface rust. I never have been a fan of pink, but this one spoke to me.

I have seen several on here, but never a manual or anything showing what those hooks on the rolling base are for. Is it a place to rest the floor tool when the hose and wands are attached? Or for holding the attachments.

I used 91% alcohol and a shop rag to clean up the paint scuffed floor tool, everything came off like magic.

Looks good!Hose is replaced and looks like wands were changed from aluminum to chrome.Bumper is missing from base. The idea at the rear of the base was to steer the vac through the house with hose and wands attached without lifting. Great and popular vac. The attachments were stored in a matching cardboard box that could be hung on a door knob when cleaning a room.

Thanks guys,

For now, I will not touch up the paint especially because that color is hard to match. As long as it is clean, I will try it out. I have a small set of attachments in green (not olive) I can pair with it. I have a crevice tool, dusting and maybe a rare fabric/curtain attachment. I would be willing to trade those for the correct tools for this model. Even if the pink ones are moldy.
