More pictures later, hope you all enjoy.

I finally am getting the hang of this camera!

Charles do you remember!

That Kenmore canister in one picture is the one I bought when I visited you in 95, The green one!

Hans.

Great pictures...those vacuums....I am still drooling....

Sears had some great machines and some in your pictures I have never seen before.

Thanks for posting.

Morgan

Kenmore dates.

From closest to the camera to the farthest away...1963,1956,1957 Horizon, this is the last Kenmore to have a Birtman motor,a 1958 Vanguard with a sticker that reads"Selected for exibition at the 1958 Brussels Worlds Fair', and a 1959 Horizon.

I do remember you finding the green Kenmore, and how hard it was for you to contain yourself until we got out of the store. Then what a banshee screech you let out!! Almost as loud as when I found that Electrolux polisher brand new in the box in that junky old antique store in Inglewood!! Remember that place?! That guy still has his store but he moved it, it's very close to my church now, near the corner of LaBrea and Manchester if you remember the area. Every so often I stop in to see if he has any more sweeper stuff but lately he has not had anything. He's a really nice guy. His name is Adam Sebastian.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of some of your vacuums Hans they look fantastic. I love the green GE vacuum set!!!

Great Pics, Hans!

Thank you for sharing them. You have some beautiful machines there. And I agree with Joe--love the Royal! Is that a model 901?

There were several versions..

You really can't tell but mine is pale pink and green,it was also made in oyster white and a brown base.

Road Trip !!!

OK, Pete and Dave !!
Jump in the car, drive to GALION and Columbus, to pick Jeff
and I up. Maybe Jim can go too We'll caravan to N. C. That
way we'll have more room for vacuums we find along the way.
We can do as a precurser to Convention week. As I know I can
NOT afford to go to Austin, as much as I would like to !
I would like to see KenKarts collection (even those great 1940/50 Delux Electric ranges) and run some of those
great vacs. Especially the Sears KenKart !!
Just tell me when, so I can be ready !!
Norm

The Front Kenmore in the second picture ...

Hi Hans,

That front Kenmore in the second picture is the one I'm looking for. You wouldn't happen to know where I can find one like it by chance, would you? I've been searching eBay and Craigslist, but no luck. The thrift stores around here are a joke. Only vacs I find there are beat to hell and they want $50 + for them. As a matter of fact, the rescue mission has a plastic 10 gallon Shop-Vac they are asking $45 for. It's all duct taped on the hose, and no attachments. If anyone comes across one, could you please give me a heads up? I'll be forever grateful.

Joe
