Does anyone here have vacuums like the ones in today's picture? The GEs seem to be covered, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they get repeated. This is the third try to get this in, I must be doing something wrong.

Hi! Yes, I'm lucky enough to have one like all 6 vacuums in the pic of the day, except that my pink GE Swivel-Top has the dolly under it, my yellow and gray Eureka doesn't have the original hose, and my Westinghouse has a slightly different base to it. Later, Trg

I have the pink GE, 82 Connie, Lewyt 90, and the Westinghouse. Trg, if your Westinghouse has a different base you might have the SC-2, a slightly later model. The one pictured is an SC-1.

Yes, it's called vintagevacuumdustcollectors, and has several albums. I think there is a link from here to there. It's incredibly inactive.

Oh, right. Richard Klein, a VCCC member (or -former- member?? I think he may be one of the folks we lost due to the various conflicts between members...) set that site up quite a few years ago. Then, IIRC, when quarreling and infighting started up there (the usual suspects), he just walked away from it and I believe it is no longer moderated by anyone. The last time I looked, there was nothing but porn-spam being posted.

It seems to have very limited activity, they were no help to me before I joined this club. The home page photo changes from time to time, so I guess someone is minding it.

Charles~Richard is right, looks like a derelict gathering porn spam. What do you think about removing the link?
