Dear VCCC friends, can anyone plese help me? Years ago when I was really heavy in the Vac game, I used to order parts through Star-for-parts. Since joining the club and getting back into the resoration of machines, I need a source for fans, electrical items etc. Does anyone know of any companies that still offer these items? I have tried various sites on the web but no one seems to offer open stock. I guess star for parts stills survives but the web site is "under construction" Any help would be greatly appreciated... THANKS

I found a place in Tampa, FL by the name of State Vacuum, I'm not sure of the address but you can look it up. They were very helpful last time and there was a guy named Reggie in the parts department who was totally knowledgeable. Give it a try.

Thank you for the Link. So you have heard of Star for Parts, I had a cat. from them many years ago but not able to find it...Thanks again!

I done a lot of business with Star for Parts back in the 80's when I was rebuilding machines and selling out of my parents house. I never had a problem with them, just found that Hesco pricing was better and quicker delivery, always next day to Las Vegas from their Phoenix warehouse.

Star For Parts are a bunch of CROOKS. I was one of their first customers when Mel Beitscher started wholesaling a few parts out of his vac shop, Star Vacuum. Years later Mel retired and sold the business to some people in New York. They altered a check I wrote them, and we ended up in court. I still have the written comments of Judge Alfred Harrell of the Denver County Court condemning their improper alteration of my check. Since moving to NC I have bought nearly all my parts from Electric Sweeper Service Co. (ESSCO) in the Cleveland area. They are absolutely wonderful to deal with, and I recommend them highly.
