I didn't want to start a new thread for just a simple question. Is it safe to put attachments in the dishwasher. Like the floor brush, crevice tool, floor/wall brush, etc? I know the floor brush has rubber on it. I've usually washed with in the sink with soap/hot water and just put them up to dry..I just finished cleaning my nasty garage floor with my rainbow and when I was washing the squeegee brush, it made me wonder if I can put all of that stuff in the dishwasher. Thanks :)

box shrunk

This may sound irrelevant, but i think rexair shrunk the box size that the SRX comes in. I was on fb and saw someone posted the srx unit and then next to it was the box it comes in but the box was the same height as the machine. Now we all know the current packaging is taller than the unit, which packages the hose, wands and attachments, did rexair chnage that to only package the machine itself in a separate box? I mean I know this may sound irrelevant but I thought Id bring it up.

"Is it safe to put attachments in the dishwasher."

It usually is BUT it's best if you can turn off the heater. It may be necessary to unplug one of the wires to the heating element when washing these plastic parts.

Some types of plastic don't do well with the high heat and will discolor and become brittle over time.

Things like floor brushes can be improved immensely.

I've found that putting the spin-scrub brush assem. from my Hoover carpet cleaner in the dw really gets the lint off and returns to brushes to the original straight position.

If you're putting a bristled floor brush in remove it from the plastic body and put it in bristles down.

Good luck.

RainJet Question

Anyone on here know what other cleaning solutions that I can use in the rainjet accessory? I would Like to use something other than clean floor. I'm thinking about using swiffer wetjet solution and or bona floor solution and or maybe pine sol /lysol, but I'd like to make sure and ask the professionals first.
