You know the old saying "When it rains, it pours!"? Well, it has certainly proven true for me lately!

Every time I say that I have too many d**n vacuum cleaners, four more show up! Three of them arrived via FedEx (Thread on that somewhere below) the other day from a very dear friend in Michigan (love ya to bits, Brandon!) and a fourth was given to me today by John Gregory when I went to his shop to purchase motor and brushroll parts for the Convertibles that Brandon sent.

A long time customer of John's had been cleaning out his garage, brought his old machine to the store, and left it on the doorstep. John immediately picked up the phone and called to tell me that he had a surprise for me.

The surprise turned out to be a STUNNING Constellation Model 86.........WITH THE ORIGINAL BOX, all original paperwork including the warranty card, two original filters in their envelope, and all of the original attachments.

As an added bonus, John gave me his very last Genuine Hoover filter that goes under the bag, as well as a package of North Canton Hoover Type J bags to go with it.

Also, I would be remiss if I didn't send a shoutout to John Long (GottahaveaHoove) for the name "Miss Connie Hoover"!

John, so true! The Constellation was a fine cleaner and a proud moment in Hoover history. I have 3 genuine bags left in the package, and the one inside the cleaner.

The weather up here is just as miserable. Cold, grey, and rainy.

Brandon, you hush! You didn't send me a box of scrap! That 719 and 589 will clean up beautifully and I've been using that Eureka every day since it got here! You sent a wonderful and thoughtful gift.

John, keep pushing him like that. He mustn't be so hard on himself.
