Oreck cvr 4000 light blue very early

I have an early Oreck vacuum model cvr 400.
Can anyone tell me if there are disposable bags
available for this model or was it designed so that
The bag simply just needs to be emptied. I ordered
Standard oreck 4000 bags but the did not fit. When
I use it without a disposable sable bag, the fourth
and dust escapes at opening to handle.
