Forgive me as I'm new to the forum but I found my mom's G model and after cleaning it and attempting use- the bag door keeps popping open every time it sees significant resistance. I cleaned the three clear hoses and the suction retard plastic container inside the intake cover. This is a new bag and I'm wondering is there a manual for disassembly for further cleaning?

I would make sure the tube that goes to the piece that penetrates the bag is clear. Sometimes the small hole in the penetrating tube gets clogged and causes the door to pop open. Also it might be a good idea to cut the ends off and re-attach the 3 tubes one might not be sealing properly.

Those are all great suggestions. I also used canned air to blow out the pinhole penetrating piece you're referring to. It was dirty but cleaning it showed no real progress. The hoses don't appear the issue but I'll go out tomorrow and buy a section of replacement hose. I found a suction side end piece on Ebay, as I'm wondering if the bag door mechanism might be the issue. That should be here in a couple days.
Earlier, I originally suspected the original hose was collapsing so I purchased a good braided hose on Ebay. It didn't fix the issue so I bought a correct new style hose replacement. No luck there either. I'm kinda banking on the new bag popout end piece now.

Take the valve out and unscrew the knob, check to see if the plastic that holds the o-ring in place is not cracked or broken. If the o-ring doesn't seat, the valve will leak and the front will pop open.

You have to use a metal bread twisty tie, stripped of the vinyl, to go all the way through the tube the hose is connected to. Compressed air won't work. You must get the little metal wire all the way through so that it sticks inside the hose opening. Go back and forth with it a couple times.

I took the valve out and the plastic checked out okay. I pulled the 2 o rings out and they were a bit chewed up so I grabbed two minutely smaller diameter o rings. They were a bit smaller diameter but were a bit fatter so they seemed okay. I got a bread wrapper wire and ran it through the tiny orifice several times. It seems to work on "6" with a replacement hose that has a relief vent that is open. If you close the slot and use it- the door will pop open shortly after with fairly decent restriction being used.

The hardware stores were closed today so I'll go out tomorrow and get hose to replace the three retard/ restrictor valve hoses and two more correct o rings.

I got the new intake end piece and it was the wrong one as it didn't have the hole under the hose for the electrical end. Boy did I sure get it polished up nicely before I noticed the problem though. I purchased all new hose and found that the issue apparently was blockage at the small hose that connects to the diaphragm that pops the door open,
