Can anyone tell me the age of this vacuum? I don't know anything about Royals, but it looks like its from the 50s or before.

This example appears to be a "Royal-Aire" 260 from 1949 or earlier.

Owner just messaged. Says the plate says MOD 258, Watts 550. Has all the attachments and hose.

So it seems to be pre 1949 and might be a rare find.
