Old? Kenmore upright

Hey everybody, its been a while since I posted on here, I cant get on at home, and I'm at my grandpa's for the weekend. I got this kenmore at a garage sale today, it is 2 speed and runs perfectly, but I am thinking it is a Kenmore duo power, and I saw on here that the bags might not be available. It came with 2 but I was wondering if anybody might have some extra bags that they could part with ( I would pay for them) and I was wondering if anybody could tell me how old it actually is? It is mostly white but the bag door is a very pale green and the handle grip and bumpers are green Thanks!

That is an early duo power. Very nice find, she should clean up very well. I believe bags are long gone like you said. I wish I had some for you. Check ebay from time to time as I have seen them on there before.

I am sure I can find a belt to fit it, but bags will definitely be harder because of the shape/ orientation. It is in really nice shape, the only things wrong with it is the rubber strain relief on the cord is hard and crumbling, and it is missing some sort of sticker on the base (the dirty spot).

Not sure here but have you checked Sears to be sure they are not available.  Still able to get bags for a canister I got there in 1980.

I can check there when I get home but I doubt they have them, the package I got with the vacuum looks really old.
