I have a fabulous, in brand-new condition, set of tools for the Eureka Empress. I have been looking for the machine to go with it and who happens to have an absolutely fabulous specimen, but our own Ms. Tania. She took pity on me and brought it down this weekend for me to keep for a while. It is so beautiful, I can't imagine using it. It is like a time capsule. So here we go, the beautiful Eureka Empress, now with two brand new tools sets!

Another Shot

I think this machine is from the mid to late 60s. It has the manual, registration form, and parts order form. That's my hose. Tania's is just as beautiful.

The Tool Kit

That Tania got with the machine. It reminds me of my sister's Barbie doll case from 1959. Not that I would know anything about that. I have an earlier tool kit (brand new) that I bought on Ebay that you will see a bit later.

The Vibra-Vac Nozzle

This was a later one (the earlier one was referred to as the Vibra-Beat)that allowed you to switch between the Vibra-Clean mode and Vac-Clean mode.

Here is my Tool Kit - Front Shot

From an earlier Empress. It has the Vibra-Beat Nozzle. I love using this with my central vac, but have not been able to find the machine to go with it. Thanks for the loan from the Voight collection Tania. I treasure it.

is 30 bucks a good price

for one of those hoses I know a guy who has nos hoses for that vacuum should I buy them I was thinking about useing one to redo a lux hose for a model f

Fred that is one beautiful Eureka! Just the vacuum to use on that beautiful stair case!! I just love the color combination on this vacuum.

Fred

I love that Eureka, someday I am going to find one.

They were one powerful vacuum cleaner with a good set of tools. The wands on the Eurekas were just the right height and the regular carpet tool in my opinion was one of the better carpet tools made.

However, the Vibra Beat had to be a conspiracy with the Hearing Aid companies across America...

That IS gorgeous

One of my aunts had the older version of the "canned ham" style -- the creamy turquoise model and she had a storage hassock for it.

Wonderful cleaners, and don't you just love the pictures and instructions inside the one tool caddy? My friend Michael in Arizona has a handsome one of these as well.
