Oh Some People! Can You Acutually Believe This?!

What? Do you guys not sell each of your vacuums after the bags are full? It really saves time for me not having to change them.

Full bag and loose wheels?and funky color-Why doesn't he replace the bag and tighten the wheels??Guess its easier just to go to the store and buy another one.Wonder what vacuum he bought to replace that Panasonic one-sort of nice its in good shape-worth replacing its bag and fixing the wheels.I bet the bonehead replaced that with some cheap bagless dreck! And since "Mum" gave it to him-wouldn't the Panasonic vac have some sentimental value?

They probably had the tools, but was too much work to pick them up! JK. Prob more the dragging wheel or dislike and using the full bag as an " easy to fix" line of crap to get someone to bite! Imagine the stink, just sayin!

Omg

Pmsl, really, I seen people overfill the vacuums and dont bother as long as they suck up crap. The only do something about it if it wont suck up anymore

What an ugly vacuum cleaner. The colors are horrendous. I remember the 'big wheel' Panasonics and sharps - awful. The direct drive agitator first debuted on Kenmore vacuum cleaners almost 15 years ago.

I can totally believe it

After all the vacuum cleaners that I rescued and re-homed from beside the dumpsters at the apartments where I lived from 2004-2014, it doesn't surprise me one bit. I'll give the seller some credit for at least recognizing it might have some value/use for somebody else and thus trying to sell it instead of just trashing it. Kudos for that.

While I did cherry-pick my rescue vacs from the total number of machines I saw trashed, each one of them needed nothing more than a bag, a belt and some basic cleaning. And the Kirby Gsix that I kept for myself didn't even need a belt, although I have since installed a new one.

The others were all good to go with less than an hour's work each. Those to whom they went were thrilled to have them and I was glad to keep those machines from making a premature trip to the landfill, even if most of them were just plastic Dirt Devils.

There's no way that selling it on eBay is easier than buying bags. So I don't believe he's selling it because of a full bag.

If he can be bothered making an ad,

Why can't he buy some £2.74 bags for it...

Some people make me want to roll around in the corner of a dark room, crying!

The seller replied to my message and he says:
Hey... I just bought a cheap and cheerful vax. Seemed like an easier option it was delivered and everything. 😂😂
Lelelelelelel

Tolivac/Rex He replaced the Panasonic with a vax, so a Hoover in America, probably something like an Air series or something as those are the most common modern vaxes or some power model or the "naked" models

Pmsl who dares me to send the guy a link to this thread? I have the guts to do it, I'm up for it!

Tech12 your comment about laziness and ready made foods is interesting.

While I disagree about many ready made foods and their nutritional value they are not all bad. Nor unworthy of buying due to convinience. Having not long lost a grandfather who suffered with Dementia some of these foods were a godsend to actually get him to eat reasonably properly in the absense of a family member being there at mealtimes to put a wholesome meal in front of him.

Not to mention it gave him some of his independance back whilst reducing the risk of something going wrong and putting all the hard work we put in to keep his spirits high going down the gutter.

Perhaps you might like to remember that just because you dont agree yourself does not mean they are not of value to anyone else. And its certainly unfair to blanket those who buy as being lazy!

Do you know...

That when I saw the vacuum cleaner in that link I thought at first it was someone just having a bit of fun. Some light hearted remark, nothing more and nothing less. It never occured to me there was a much deeper, darker side to it all - I'm so glad it's been pointed out and thoroughly analysed.

Lol really with a bit of insertion fees to pay aswell xD
Reminds me, a guy hated his DC02 DAS and wrote a MAHOOSIVE paragraph on how he hated it and loved his Hetty, there's a thread on VL actually about it. This was like a year or 2 ago circa.

Also, on Gumtree there was an advert "Vulture stole Henry hoover" or something and wanted people to look for a bird with a henry, it stole it and the owner wants the vacuum back lel.

A Pizza Hut shop in Manchester had their Henry stolen aswell and the reward for finding it as free pizza, yum! well I think im going a bit off topic now... sorry!

And in doing so I liked the wrong message. I have been told that the current expression to this scenario would be to say "my bad". I have corrected my error, though I am quite sure I will never be able to keep up with modern slang.

"Vax" bagless machines were sold here at one time----DUMPSTER BAIT!!!And have seen them left by trash cans on trash day--LEAVE 'EM-too bad I wasn't around to see and hear them go thru the trash truck!!In my area--One trash company uses an EZ-PAK "Boss"-another--Wayne "Curbtender"and a third company a 25CUyd McNealious--That beast will pack ANYTHING left on the curb!!!Great to watch!!!Also seen those Vax vacuums under the Bosch name here. Now haven't seen any at present.Correct me if I am wrong but think Vax is now under TTI?I would have kept, rebagged and fixed the wheels on the Panasonic before buying a Vax!!!
