NZ Electrolux machines

I am getting some Electrolux machines from the incredibly generous TonyNZ, a Z40, Z328, D336 and a D735. I am also potentially getting a Z56, Za/Ze65, D735 and D740/D745 from someone in Christchurch who kept them in a corner of his home. I may not end up getting them, though I am hopeful.
Wow, you're really ending 2025 with buying bonanza! Congrats!

My NZ Electrolux collection has/will over the last few months expanded to a z25, za40, Z56, another Z56, ze65, another ZE65, z89, Z99,z328, z333, d338, d720, d336, d735, another d735, and another d735 no motor this time though and finally my d745. That is the vintage/classic style of Electrolux.

Here is my 6th post is a row on this thread, oh well. I just remembered a detail that someone complained to me about once. They said that the D735, the first model with electronic suction control, would turn on automatic, not maximum. You would have to select maximum. Apparently this was very annoying and difficult from someone who had multiple Electrolux machines over the years.

The Lux models I have with the automatic feature I generally just leave on automatic. One of the few vacuum makes I do this with and am satisfied with the results.
