Yes, I have also noticed that. If you see his other listing for the clean air Panasonic, he states that he is making more room for new vacuum cleaners.

Its just that as he hasn't been on VL much in the last few weeks and with now selling his cherished vacs I think he may be losing interest - which would be a shame as Alex is a good contributor on here. Its quiet without him.


 


Am wondering if he's been ordered to go work by the jobcentre?

Alex hasnt gone

Im skyping him right now, he doesn't have enough space and has wanted to get rid of some of his vacuums for a while now, but he has got a job and a bank account consequently a paypal account which means he can finally sell them

Yes I figured he might have had to start work, and when you have to go to work you tend to come home so tired you cant be bothered with vacs or the internet.


These days companies want maximum work for minimum pay. Slave drivers.


 


Is it a paid job or just work experience (workfare)?

I am still here, I just hadn't bothered to post or look on here you see.
I am selling some of the cleaners that I no longer want or use anymore, but don't get excited the Turbopowers are going NOWHERE, the "Turbo" cleaners are the highlight of my collection and you would have to sell my soul before you could sell my Turbopowers or even more so my now 2 "Elite" cleaners.
I have just enquired a Purepower Autosense and a "Hoover Professional Dual Purpose" with tools on-board, basically an American Hoover legacy.
So watch this space for threads on them.

Yes, I am, I really would love that one, I was kinda hoping the Turbopower 3 I have now was gonna be the red one, but when I picked it up, it wasn't so I really hope I get that! Yes, I do realise it is missing but I have a later burgundy Turbopower 2 which I can snatch it off as it is the same colour.
I got the Purepower on an auction on eBay a couple of weeks ago on it's own.

I know you won the Commercial vac - I was watching that one myself - but money is too tight to mention so cant afford any at the moment - Gas bills and all that :-(

Yup, that is mine, the hose suction is, I can't even put in to words how shockingly AWFUL it is, nowhere near as good as out Turbopower Total System.

Have you stripped it down to check the motor fan (I assume its a dirty fan) for blockages?
