now i want a lux guardian platinum

So I went to areus dealer and loved the guardian platinum but the best offer the dealer. gave me was 1800$ I'm not comfortable. with th"e variability in price from what I have seen in other threads. If someone knows a dealer (so I would have. a warrenty) who would offer a better deal and ships, please email me.

Rich has been kind enough to give one of every model Aerus vacuum to the Vacuum Cleaner Museum. I bought my Platinum Edition that I use at home, directly from Rich.

Good luck and you will probably love it like most users do. You'll never own anything better for ease of use. The bag change process is the easiest ever and it is one of the easiest to push you'll ever see. Now it combines ease of use with high power and low noise like the Luxes of old. I want that machine too and can't wait till I can buy it. I'm gonna wait a while longer to see if any improvements come along.

I really Love my Aerus Lux Gaurdian Platinum..

But... the power nozzle still stays on when you turn the vacuum off. I heard they have came out with a fix for this problem. But I don't know how to obtain a fix for mine... Other then that it works very very well and I am very pleased with the machine...

The power nozzle runs when the suction motor is OFF in order to scrub in the dry carpet cleaning powder. Electrolux made a separate power nozzle called the Dry Lux to do just that, several years ago. I use my Sidekick with the Riccar dry carpet powder, and my Platinum works perfectly for this when cleaning the sofa.
