Eureka--and MORE to come.
Reminder-Unless 'new in box'the 'remarkably good' description is my highest description of overall quality/condition.
Note-This summer I am dealing with the death of one parent and the other moving to an assisted living apartment.Which means beginning the clean out of a 3 bedroom house of which one bedroom & attic was partially used for my storage of vacs and other. This is why 2 of this weeks vacs and later vacs, car & kitchen items will be available.
To start--A tan Electrolux B-8 polisher(will also shampoo if you add other parts). The tan is already rare because of limited time of production before going back to blue colors. To understand this one you have to know that other than wiping off with paper towel & windex IT HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED.A typical B-8 will need the metal bottom cleaned, scraped, sanded & painted. Not this one!I have not removed bottom or motor cover as with most used B-8s.I feel it was sold with a Mo G and never used after the demo.Take a look and see if you agree.
Singer R-2-Is it a vacuum OR is it an Art Deco sculpture??Either way it is an amazing 30s item. One careful owner who lived through the depression and later waited years for a new car after WW 2 and knew how to make things last.
60s Eureka canister--You can not tell the vac history of the 60s without Hoover Constellation,Elux G,Eureka Princess and others. This one is very nice and complete.Often an early model will have features that are dropped for price reduction issues.(For example the 1st GE Swivel Top had a switch & a spring & a stylish pedal that would turn the vac on & off.Later models had a switch that would still turn them on & off.)This Eureka has a Chrome Plated ! bag holder for the 'H' bag.Later, only painted.Great and powerful vac!
See these and more and MORE to come at EBay seller leisurelady65 or---(and here is the part no one seems to hear)---bring a large truck and a relatively small amount of currency and save me the trouble!!
