So the other day I saw this red Hoover windtunnel on FB market place for sale.
quick check and it was a USA 110volt model. As it was used ( slighlty ) it was either brought over when a household moved here or it was a amazon purchase not correctly checked and was used on a transformer untill that became to cumbersome.
You cant really get upright vacuums locally unless you go Sebo. About 3 years back dyson moved from uprights to cordless on our market and all the other copy cats followed suit.
Any way I bought it and its not bad, grooms the carpet very nicely, Though not as well as my older also 110v Windtunnel. It is allot quieter though.
It has a cord rewind ( a feature we haven't seen on upright vacuums since the early 90's) but it has its drawbacks though in a short cord, no were near as long as on the original machine
