Residential, is, well, residential quality!
With Speed Queen the dynamic parts of the commercial models are shared with the lower tier residential models that still use the older agitation style ( I cannot remember model numbers off the top of my head ) but the residential models have a different front panel and circuit board where the commercial model uses old fashioned electromechanical dial and knobs you rotate. But the mechanical parts, motors, transmissions, clutch and such are the same on household and commercial models. The commercial model also has a little bit wider outer shell to hold the optional coin box.

The LWN432SP115TW01 is the only top loader left that uses a mechanical timer. However it doesn't have a water selector switch and the warranty is 3 years for the parts only, doesn't cover the labor. And they're a little bit harder to get since not only they'd need to be purchased by a commercial dealer but also you have to have a business name in order to purchase one from what I was told. Once a week I go to a place where I volunteer at to do laundry, they have UniMac machines that are basically rebranded SQ since they're made in the same factory. They're all electronic and I can honestly say that they've held up really well. In fact, I just recently got a SF7 for my grandfather's hunting cabin because I'm confident that is the last set we'd ever use for the place. Personally like Filter Queen, I'd rather buy one used as I think they're just not worth the price for what they are. Only reason I got the SF7 was because the insurance company paid for it entirely. My LG front loader has a built in heater and turbo wash that's still cheaper to buy than the FF7, not to mention the size capacity is bigger on my LG.

I know of a couple of places that would sell me one. I almost bought a set then decided to fix the GEs I have and keep them a few more years.

That's good you have access to purchase one. I'm actually curious now, what GE set do you have? Wonder if it's either a Filter-Flo or a model T. We had both of those before that I thought were good machines.

LG makes commercial washers as well. Mine is identical to the commercial ones. In fact, I got LG because my local appliance technician said it's his least repaired brand for washers and dryers. I've been very pleased with mine, best set I've ever had in my house. I'd get another LG if I had to do it all over again. Another reason why I got the SF7 for the cabin was because there was no nearby LG dealer to come over and repair it, otherwise I would've considered getting a Washtower instead. SQ used to be cheaper when they were sold in other brands like GE as I mentioned before, it makes no sense paying extra for a SQ branded model. Yes they are good quality, but it's like paying for a Kirby where you could've gotten a Royal for WAY less. My Kenmore 90 Series I also have is arguably the best top loader ever made. Plus I like that it uses plastic tubs and doesn't tilt the tub over like SQ. They're good machines overall but again I just don't see myself paying for a new one.
