Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but am a lifelong vacuum enthusiast. I am on my second restoration. My first was a Sentria that was in OK, but not great shape. I am currently working on a Kirby Classic III that is turning out pretty well.

My question is actually about the handle. It has a plastic form fitting red piece that fits on the back of the aluminum handle, and attaches with one twist screw. However, it seems very flimsy and rattles. Am I missing something, or is that just this particular build? It just doesn't seem like a Kirby standard, and feels cheap.

Your advice is most appreciated!

Thanks,

Scott
