New Old Style Hoover Extension Wands!

Hey guys! It’s almost 2018 and I got a neat item from eBay. 2 never before used Hoover stainless steel extension wands from the mid 60’s! I love the old style clip on wands than the later plastic ones from the late 70’s to the 80’s. The plastic wands that came with the tool set are kinda bulky and slightly boring so yes I am nit picky with vacuum attachments, lol. The wands I got have a nice slim look to it and surprisingly they are a little long than the plastic wands as well!

What do you think I should do with the other wands?

They are wonderful!

All of Hoover's attachments (during that time) were truly great.
There will be some who'll bash. To them, I'll simply say.................!

I agree, I like the aluminum wands and the plastic clip system better than the plastic wand and ring system that came later. Although I think the ring system is a little more sturdy connection and more durable.

I have those wands....the only trouble is the teflon like insert that makes the seal. Nobody has ever claimed a source other than robbing them from nearly destroyed wands.


 


To find NOS wands is kinda great!

My bad, the wands are aluminum, not stainless steel. I got a lil confused with my metals.

The plastic ring system wands are a lil bit wobbly.

If you want to get rid of the white plastic wands selling them is a great idea. If no one else will buy them I can.
Just let me know what you want for them but if someone else wants them I'd be happy for them to buy them.

Those aluminum wands will serve you well forever.

The plastic ones aren't bad, either. I'm more opposed to the new, friction ones, myself.
I love the 'telescoping aluminum wand" best. You must find at least one of those.
