In 6 days I am picking up some new machines. They are from an ex collector.I can't wait to get them. Apparently there is two green Electroluxs, two red Electroluxs, a Haywin, a Hoover 407 in original box and a Goblin Ace. I will add some photos from other collectors. I will post photos of the actual machines when I get them.

From what I know the Goblin Ace was produced by Fisher and Pykel in their Auckland facility andf the basic design was carried over into the Hoover 407 from the late 70s. I found a stamp advertising the Haywin vacuum. I hope their is two Elctrolux 336s. Any would be good though.

I'm happy for you and looking forward to seeing them!

Elliot,

In case you are unaware of this site it provides digitized scans of select floor & surface care appliance ephemera (I think US only, though). Basic membership is free. Here's the link:

https://automatice.org

Btw, are you collecting hard copies of the user manuals and other ephemera of your NZ cleaners?

I do collect that type of things, they very seldom show themselves though. I have got a z89 with a broken handle, a z99 with a bad motor, a z56 with no motor, a good z89, a z65 with a bad motor and a good z65. Then there is the non-Electrolux machines, there was a early 40s-mid 50s Haywin, a Hoover 407 with a bad motor, a Goblin Ace and a backpack vacuum witha srandad 10 amp switch that looks like a lightswitch and a standard wall out let on the side for a PN.
