I received an essentially NOS 2002 Lindhaus Diamante yesterday and the brush roller or belt seems to be making an odd noise. I do not have any dealers nearby, thus I’m going to this knowledge base. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I did put some triflow on the right bearing.
I’ve attached two videos, one with both motors and one with just the brush motor.

It seems like it's the bearing on the brushroll motor. Being sat in the box for many years could cause that bearing to sound dry.
I did have the hood off yesterday seeing if there was anything wrong with the belt. I was starting to lean towards the problem being the brush motor bearings. I put some triflow in the rear bearing, and it did possibly reduce the noise. I’ll have to try the front bearing as well. I’ve been trying to run the machine each day, and it does seem like the noise has reduced slightly. The brush roller is also very difficult to push back in, I would say everything is a bit dry. Luckily the suction motor seems good. The armature of the brush motor also seems like it could use polishing. I was wrong above, this is from 2008. Overall, this has been my worst experience on eBay, the seller claimed it was new but this “new” machine came with dirt in the bag and carbons on the post motor filter.
Here’s the photos I sent the seller when I chewed him out!
