Blakaeg, I am currently considering a KIrby vacuum which is the most powerful vacuum, more powerful than a Numatic, Miele, Sebo, Etc
They are between £0 to £300 but they are well worth it, and they are metal so you can sell a good vacuum made of metal (worth a lot) for wt you want

Everytime I test out a Dyson at a shop or use one (particular the DC40, DC01, DC25 & DC04) I have found them to be very clunky & hard to move. When I had my DC04 I found it quite awkward to steer &go around corners. Even the DC25, because it is heavy & clunky, even with a ball in place. I would much prefer one of their cylinders but they never come up for sale in my local area.

Really? DC01? lol it barely lifts the carpet :P
The DC04, I find it sticks to the carpet and half floors well but is still easy to move on Carpets. the DC25 dpoes not seem hard to move at all
when I was the DC41 Animal in for repair, It turned smoothly but It felt like the wand handle, and the body was going to SNAP
