It's actually an example of Sears 70's fullsize lineup that were made by Matsushita using their now begotten Hoover DAM clean air upright patents. Big seller, very common at the time, now hard to find as most have probably been chucked out long ago. Had an optional friction fit plasticy attachment set that plugged into a port on the base near the rear I believe on most models but with poor suction. So it's sort of a precursor to the Jet Flo

If there was anything negative of a minor nature about them I think it was that the entire base section was slightly too wide and too long for getting in and around coffee and end tables etc easily without banging into something. And the power cord wasn't long enough to cross an average living room without replugging it in. Bags 5025 and 5026 designed for the machine are no longer available.

Surprised I didn't notice that was a Panasonic, lol.

But now I look at it, there were a few obvious signs.

You do realise guys that..i've actually managed to find a Matsushita/Panasonic product without actually looking for one :P

If that's not some kinda weird sign I dunno what is lol.

Well that's cuz back then Panasonic, and other countries made damn good products, powerful motors, INTELLIGENT designs and unbeatable build quality.

Shark? Shark was the name of a rather aggressive fish.

Good gawd I always thought those were made by Matsushita..when I got parts for mine at Sears and they were looking in believe it or not still a microfiche cause it was so old it said Mfr by Matsushita

I have heard that Matsushita did produce some machines for Whirlpool.

Damn this is getting messy ;p
