No, she wasn't rebuilt by Kirby, but by a man who owns a small vacuum repair shop. He is the same person who refurbished Fred Nelson's 519 (or was it a 516?). Fred, please correct me if I'm wrong. <br
Fred Nelson gave me the NOS bag, bag top and cord. I found the other NOS parts on eBay--everything from the bag guard, to the sticker on the handle, the wheels, the bumper, and the on/off switch. <br
Greg Nunn shepherded the vacuum through the repair shop. Now, it really looks showroom new. I hope you all enjoyed the photos. <br
The Dual 80 is my favorite because of the color and size. It's such an iconic look. Now, though, I have the bug to get a Dual 50 and a Classic III. So, keep your eyes peeled for me. <br
