My New Sanitaire Contractor Upright

A few days ago, I posted about a closeout deal on a brand new Sanitaire Upright. The order went through and then was canceled. I placed the order again and was excited to receive an email saying that it had been shipped. I checked the tracking this morning and it said my package was "out for delivery" -- music to my ears! Oh, the anticipation! When I checked the mail, there was a padded Priority Mail envelope stuffed inside the box. The mailing label said it was from VANGUARD WHOLESALE -- the shipper of my new vacuum. This is what I found inside. Maybe I just need to add water in order for it to magically transform into a full size Sanitaire Upright!

Rick, I would say that that is a very nice quality bathroom sink, vanity drain & stub!!!

LOL I've been watching that awhile wondering what they would really send. I dont think a bathroom sink drain Is worth that price though.

haha! Imagine my surprise when I pulled it out of the mail box and looked at the mailing label! At first, I thought it was a canister style VGII brush roll that I recently found on Ebay. Then I realized it was my beautiful Sanitaire! Now, we'll see how customer service responds.

Well, I just spoke with Vanguard Wholesale on the phone. The lady I spoke with was actually very nice. It was a listing error on their part. She issued a full refund AND I can keep my new piece of plumbing! LOL!
