I'm actually only about 1/8 Italian. Somewhere down the line my all Russian/Polish family slept with a few Italians. So I'm predominately Russian/Polish with a TINY bit of Italian mixed in.

SantaBaby versus HooverBaby

"(sudenly i faintly hear the song "Santa Baby" am I alone in this one?)"

If SantaBaby can hurry down the chimney tonight, better watch out for HooverBaby too ;)

Why?

Is Hooverbaby comming down my chimney?LMAO Id better put up my Hoover tree and hang my vacuum bags by the fireplace =)

Sleepdoc- you got it that is a Hoover Guardsman alright. I had that model a few years ago as did a local resturant, and they did not put an orange cord on them, just a long (30ft?) cord like the Decades had.
I think the was "commercial quality for the home". Fred can probably tell us for sure. It was probly just an advertisement thing. These were sold at regular box stores too. Ann&Hope had them on display around 1987-88 for 129.99 complete with dusting tools.
I used to play with it almost every time i went to the store =)

I know, sorry Ty I was just throwing my 2 amps in lol. You have a great collection to BTW. Can you take a pic of the Kenmore caister i spy to the right of the pic if you get a min =)
I like the guarsman, and the fact that it has the cloth bag, but I don't think they sold to well because I dont see them to often(around here anyway). It was probably the price. People around here proply figured why spend an extra 60 or 70 bucks when you could het a Convertible or Eureka 1400 series for around $59.99-69.99 and throw a $3.00 extention cord on it.

Somebody has an HO train layout....

Tyler, do you still run your trains? I've still got my first HO locomotive from 1965! I'm sure it doesn't run anymore. I haven't even had a track for it since about 1975!

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program...

"Is Hooverbaby comming down my chimney?LMAO Id better put up my Hoover tree and hang my vacuum bags by the fireplace =)"

8th January is too late for presents - sorry!!! you'll have to wait until next year before I'll go down your chimney...

Let that be a warning for all the guys who don't hang up their pillow cases on time...(or Hoover Trees and vacuum bags for that matter).

Umm Matt? Are you sure it was your family that ....nevermind

Kenny, you know you can be honest. Go on. Say what you wanted to. I'm sure it involves my bf.

Hoo Baby Hoo oo oo oo oo oo

Heard this on the radio at work and it gave me an idea...

The original Eddie Floyd version doesn't have the Hoo Baby bit in it LOL.

Sure sounds like HooverBaby to me!!

Hope you like it..

Welcome Rich!

Nice to see so many young vac fans joining Vacuumland!

Gay (like me too), straight, bi - whatever the romantic orientation, the only "requirement for citizenship" here is an attraction to vacuum cleaners!
