I finally have one of the main staples of my Lux collection that I was missing.. An LX thanks to Nathan Thomas (Electrolux Dude) Without further ado...
The rest of my luxes. ( please excuse the mess on the floor in these pics... Haven't had time to vacuum! Haha. ) from left to right: LX, early model E (also have the later one with the stabilizing foot but not pictured), early model AF, early turquoise G, early 1205, Super J, and Silverado. I love my Electroluxes!!!
I used to have a really nice xxx... But now it is disassembled and in pretty bad shape on my basement. So I'm on the prowel for a new one. The motor mounts on my other one broke and something happened to the fans. And thanks for replying!
I just recently picked up a pretty nice later XXX on eBay. I'm making a special place for my luxes when I get my workshop finished... Now I'm mostly focused on acquiring missing attachments for my various machines.
I snapped some new pictures since I've done more polishing and gotten the XXX. My convertible 69 is making a guest appearance. (Unfortunately, it is hoodless)
This is my most complete Electrolux, thus making it one of my current favorites. It was barely used and came to me from its original owner. ( I also got my early model E from her) that pack of bags only had one removed from it and the date on the package is 1979, I think. Both the super J and model E were onto used with genuine bags. It is great how people cared for their appliances. I assume the Super J probably got too heavy for the sweet old lady who owned it, so he probably reverted back to her trusty, lightweight Model E as she aged.
Beautiful Lux Collection. I am trying to find as many as possible. Right now i have a Golden J. i am getting a Super J soon. I might be getting a Model 30(XXX)
and I might be getting a marquis.
