this is the vacuum that I had when I was growing up and the first vacuum that I fixed. I started repairing when I was 5 yrs old. thanks to this machine for teaching me about the mistakes motors can make. the one I had made a whole mess of mistakes.

I love this vac. I really want the model before this that almost looks like the hand held one does anyone know what I mean.

Do you mean the broom vac? Rear mount cloth bag, front tool port, and carrying handle on the top if the base? Its one of my favorites, as are many early Dirt Devils.

I think that then older Dirt devils clean better than anything on the market today. I only had mine for about 5 days and the bag is already half full. and before I used this I was using a hoover convertable, Electrolux model R, and eureka Dial a nap

I had a dirt devil jaguar or something like that. I donated it to a foundation cause I was moving I loved it. Had amazing suction but the bag would always blow of and blow dust other than that a great vac. I bought a dirt devil like the one in the thread from appliance nut I cant wait till it gets here. Something about a front bag vac that does it for me.
