Hi, Here are two vacuums and some Kirby bits I acquired recently.

First we have a American Lincoln Super Sweep. It's cleaned up well. It's a shame about the scratches on the head.

It runs well. The bristles on the brush roll are long and in good condition. In fact it's in general good condition for a used commercial vacuum cleaner. It has a cloth bag inside the outer bag.

All in all a great vacuum cleaner.

Next we have a Hoover 262. I already have a 262 but this one is in better condition as the main body paint work isn't scratched. Also the top of the rubber handle grip has not perished badly either like my other one has. It runs nice and smooth as well.

And finally I got a Kirby Heritage "Care Kit" The box isn't in great condition as I would of liked but at least I have one now.

Hope you enjoy my pictures...

I'm so glad that you were able to clean up the Super Sweep! I'm just glad it went to someone who will take care of it. I promise if I ever get around to making a trip to England, I'll stop by your shop.

Hi,

Hi Austin, I bought it off John (Zombie) a few weeks ago. It arrived the other week and I've had chance to give it a clean so I could take pics of it to share.

And Mr Long. I knew you would like the Hoover. I'm not sure why lol.

John(Zombie) your welcome to pop in to visit me.

Congrats Jim!

Both are beautiful machines, and yes, the Super-Sweep is a rare machine. The 262 looks perfect! I have the US version, model 26.

Hi

Hi Chad, Do you have the other commercial Kirbys?

Hi Jeff. What years was your Hoover model 26 out?

Hi Jim,

There were 253,768 model 26 Hoovers built from 1938 to 1941. From where the serial number falls I believe mine was built in 1939.
