The power nozzle for my new Compact is on the way, along with the triangular shaped dusting brush for my Kenmore canister.  Now this week-end I'll be on a quest for an electric hose and wands.  I may just go to the vac shop and see about getting a cord that straps on the outside of my regular hose and do that for a while.

NO. The Lime Green C-8 Compact came with the Cyclonic Turbinette turbo nozzle. The first model with an electric power nozzle (in the C-8 series) was the gold model in 1976, the power nozzle had the black decal. The hose was non-electric and had a cord that strapped on to bring electricity to the power nozzle.
