The "Phase IV" power nozzle...

...is (was) identical to our UK "Turbo 500" power nozzle. It featured the 'activator' agitator; a lighter duty version of the "Conquest", "Turbopower", "Turbomaster" agitator.

The snapped power hose could be replaced by the Mark 2 version, (pistol-grip/petrol-pump style hand-grip).

For what it's worth, I had the successor to the UK 'Sensotronic' range: the Hoover 'Alpina Tria-3'. It was quite good, but the power hose was so unwieldy. The remote wired power control sometimes sent the wrong signal (power rising when supposed to be decreasing, etc.)
