that is a very nice machine,

those are called the Wild Moss, Continental and were dated to right around 1975 or 1976, but there is a major problem with yours.....it is missing the original bag, that is what makes that model desirable. Here is mine which is all original. they were some of the last 3.5 amp Eureka uprights till the ESP (Extra Suction Power) was introduced in 1978. The bag that is on yours was to a mid 1980's model. in 1983 the Eureka logo changed from what is on my bag, and the top of the headlight cover, to the boxy logo that your bag sports....

A few months ago I found one similar..model 2250 A on craigslist for $15. It's a cocoa brown color with the original beige print bag, but has the slide-type rugulator height adjuster. It belonged to the seller's mother and had sat for a while. The vibra-groomer I was filthy, dry rotted belt and just overall dirty. I fired it up and it purred like a kitten and could tell it would clean up and it did, beautifully. Up to that point, I didn't have one with that style hood and am glad to have found it. Once you get it cleaned up and service the brushroll, you'll love yours too. That motor has such a nice sound to it.

Does anyone know, did they ever make that hood style with the ESP motor?

It does have a nice sound to it. I cleaned it all up. The brushroll and belt pullu were such a tangled mess with hair and fuzz. But after cutting through the mess and replacing the belt, its a nice cleaner. The Vibra Groomer is in great condition and spins freely. Is there anything I need to do to keep it running well?

Beautiful Eureka! Just change the bag and belt whenever needed and it will serve you as well as any contemporary Sanitaire!

Always use top fill F&G bags...

Wonder how difficult it would be to refinish the green hood to make it like new.....
