Thought I’d share a few pictures of my Penncrest A104 that I picked up this weekend. I really like the color and logo. I did a little clean up on it too. A few before photos at the end. Looks like it is missing the rubber covers that go on the handle release and height adjustment, but maybe this model didn’t come with them. I’m guessing it is a late 60s model as it looks very similar to my convertible, but not totally sure. If anyone has more info on this model, I greatly appreciate you sharing.
Also the tube that the bag attaches too had a rubber sheath that rolled over the end of the bag to secure it, but it has deteriorated. See photos. For now I put some zip ties on it but would prefer a better solution or more appropriate. I’ve seen others that utilize a “spring” ring that slides over the bag and “locks” into a groove. Like a eureka F&G The plastic chute however does not have a groove for a spring to lock into. Open to any recommendations.
