My Fantom collection

I love your Fantom Canister. The only Fantom I have in my collection is the Thunder. They were very popular around my area for several years. How do you like the canister? Our local stores only carried the uprights or I would have bought one! What created your interest in the Fantoms?

Lets see

Well I alwayz wanted the capture cleaner but I do not have looking to buy one is someone is willing to part with it.....My mom had one and I loved it...Now I have it lol...my moms is the one with the xtra grey hose on it...I buy them left and right....

I lvoe your fantom collection. I noticed you have a fish tank. I have 2. I also talke care of the ones at our near by nursing home. 55 gallons.

OMG

I LOVE THE LIGHTNING!!!!!!
I had a special edition Fury that I sold because it wasn't what I wanted in a vacuum(then came the Kirby-long story). My baby-sitter when I was younger, had a Lightning and I believe she paid around $320 for it. Let me tell you, I would beg her to use it because I LOVED IT. I'm not a canister person but let me tell you, I loved the Lightning! Nice collection!

very nice collection of Phantoms. I always wanted one of them. Might have to pick one up someday. Weren't they the first, or one of the first, vacuums without a bag?

Anyway, nice collection you have there.

I think thw Amway might have been one of or the very first to star the bag less fad. James Dyson had a HUGE part of the design of the Amway back in the eighties. Fantom came a little later I believe.

Very nice collection Brian! After you get my Kenmore/ lightning you have to post a picture of it.

great fantoms

I loved the Fantoms when they came out.... I was a teenager I convinced my grandmother to get a Fury, my English teacher got a Thunder, my Sunday school teacher got a Thunder, my aunt/next door neighbor got a Cyclone XT and I found out that my math teacher had a Lightening. I've always loved the way the Lightnings looked.

I remember walking into Sears and seeing the Kenmore version of the Thunder. I got so upset that Sears was "copying" Fantom. I told the sales associate that theey ould get sued for copying Fantom (then got a job in that store doing the same job 3 years later)! I went home and called Fantom and told them Kenmore had copied them. I didn't know Sears contracted manufacturers to make machines for them... I'm sure everyone thought I was silly!
