You took the words right out of my mouth, Its always good to have a back up , and a back up for the back up and a back up for that back up and yea you get my point.

I mean imagine it must be really boring having to use the same vacuum every day , kind of like driving the same car to work every day as well, hehe

Lol I love having

Some still in the box 😁

Great find only thing is those bags only for the
machines on the package . They are the Tacony
built Hoovers and I already use my Simplicity cloth
hepa bags in the Tacony Hoover .
John Gregory ordered me the Royal genuine B bags
Thanks for all your effort it's greatly appreciated .

Dan

Tacony built Hoovers?

The mind reels! When did this happen? Tacony doesn't build many of their own vacs, but they built hoovers too at some point? Argh...

Yeah i know you order some of the B's...i ordered some brush strips from John over the phone. A conversation with him sure gives you confidence in the name (and builds anticipation for their products) going forward that's for sure, thx again for the suggestion.
Btw, I messaged you about a vac you had expressed interest in, "still in the box" ...lmk if it works out.[this post was last edited: 2/19/2014-19:57]

Rob

Tacony builds all of their vacuums in St. James MO

They made the Hoovers for a short time a few years ago .

Yes John Gregory is the only true Hoover guy I know with extensive
knowledge about every model and he truly cares about the brand
and TTI looks to him a lot for advice plus he has designed and continues
to design Hoovers for the company .

Thank you but until I get rid of some vacuums I am keeping my vacuum
purchases to just Kirby and any other new high end machines pop up .
I am purchasing a Riccar Prima once it's released .

Dan

Now that is something...

because you can clean and polish an old Kirby or other metal vac or even a Hoover Convertible and it will present incredibly well. But something like that Dimension has to be unused to look like that, wow.

Ya think for yourself Dan. I have yet to hear anyone express such unbriddled enthusiasm for a Caddy Vac or Legacy before.

About Tacony, I should have said they only build some of their *canister* vacs here, the TOL models. And even those were assembled from parts made overseas. But maybe that has changed. The video on the Simplicity website says plans for a domestic canister were in the works. And this from the Tacony website:

"Tacony manufactures vacuum cleaners and commercial cleaning products in these facilities: Ft. Worth, Texas; St. James, Missouri; West Chicago, Illinois; and Southhampton, England."

Thanx Rob

I love all of North Cantons Hoovers and I am really loving the
TTI Hoovers and what's on its way will be amazing . Purchasing
Oreck will yield great things made in the US again .

Well I am a fanatic about brand new vacuums as that was at
least 95 % or more of my purchases .

The rare used ones I have are mint like new also those aquired from
friends and relatives .

That video from Taconys web site is old a lot more machines are built here
in the US . Sadly not all parts are made here but at least the machines are
assembled here and Tacony employs Americans to build them .

Dan

I have a  Hoover dimension, Not brand new but I sure made it close, Due to the fact that I like older model vacuums and alo USA model vacuums most of mine are used But i also dont like other people s dirt in my vacuums, so each machine is stripped o pieces washed in my parts washer at a hot temp to remove germs and then reassembled.I am very fussy about this.

This was my

Grandmoms(Nanny) upstairs vacuum

Hoover convertible model 65 she rarely used this
it had its hood replaced because of melting hers never
melted her Hoover guy just replaced it under warranty .
We care for our things as you can tell in this picture not
one scratch or scuff mint like new .

Dan

How do you like that vortech? I've been eyeing those up for awhile now but there's no dealer in my area.

Dan

What I meant to say is do you like it better than the tri star? Sorry having a f----tard moment

All of your Vacuums !

Dan
Thank you, so much for sharing all of your vacs. I would love and probably
had almost as many had I worked for Kirby, Electrolux, and rainbow. Which
I did do at one time or another. Only selling a total of about 3 each and
threw in the towel. I did work as a rep for Eureka for 3 years before opening
my own Vac shop which I ran for 6 years. So lots of experience, just no
money !
Sure wish we could have a Convention at your place one day ! It would be
fun !
Norm

Hi Norm

I love the Vortech Force the Wessel PN
does a great job love the sealed bags .

Your welcome there are sooooo many more yet to
come ;)

It would be nice except my home is tiny and there is no room
My yard on the other hand is huge 28 acres but my vacuums
don't go outside just for photos by the pool sometimes and
now that pool is closed till March that's not happening yet .
