Thanx Rob

I love all of North Cantons Hoovers and I am really loving the
TTI Hoovers and what's on its way will be amazing . Purchasing
Oreck will yield great things made in the US again .

Well I am a fanatic about brand new vacuums as that was at
least 95 % or more of my purchases .

The rare used ones I have are mint like new also those aquired from
friends and relatives .

That video from Taconys web site is old a lot more machines are built here
in the US . Sadly not all parts are made here but at least the machines are
assembled here and Tacony employs Americans to build them .

I have a  Hoover dimension, Not brand new but I sure made it close, Due to the fact that I like older model vacuums and alo USA model vacuums most of mine are used But i also dont like other people s dirt in my vacuums, so each machine is stripped o pieces washed in my parts washer at a hot temp to remove germs and then reassembled.I am very fussy about this.

This was my

Grandmoms(Nanny) upstairs vacuum

Hoover convertible model 65 she rarely used this
it had its hood replaced because of melting hers never
melted her Hoover guy just replaced it under warranty .
We care for our things as you can tell in this picture not
one scratch or scuff mint like new .

How do you like that vortech? I've been eyeing those up for awhile now but there's no dealer in my area.

Dan

What I meant to say is do you like it better than the tri star? Sorry having a f----tard moment

All of your Vacuums !

Dan
Thank you, so much for sharing all of your vacs. I would love and probably
had almost as many had I worked for Kirby, Electrolux, and rainbow. Which
I did do at one time or another. Only selling a total of about 3 each and
threw in the towel. I did work as a rep for Eureka for 3 years before opening
my own Vac shop which I ran for 6 years. So lots of experience, just no
money !
Sure wish we could have a Convention at your place one day ! It would be
fun !

Hi Norm

I love the Vortech Force the Wessel PN
does a great job love the sealed bags .

Your welcome there are sooooo many more yet to
come ;)

It would be nice except my home is tiny and there is no room
My yard on the other hand is huge 28 acres but my vacuums
don't go outside just for photos by the pool sometimes and
now that pool is closed till March that's not happening yet .

I like the Vortech you have there, So its made by Ghibbli from Italy ?? I have a few of there commercial vacuums. They are very well made.

I got that exact one...

and eight others you have posted so far. Also i grew up with a model 65 like that one you show except the hood was the same color as the handle.
2 of the eight i have that you have posted here are the Eurekalux's you "don't like". I'm not fond them either because i got them both at an auction and neither of them work. My new mantra, "no complex electronics on vacuums please...especially on the hose!"
Anyways, how did you get yours and what exactly puts you off about them?[this post was last edited: 2/21/2014-15:32]

Rob

Yeah my Nanny`s hood on her 65 was same color as the handle but her Hoover warranty guy replaced it with the White improved plastic hood . She said she never thought to ask for old hood back as they probably needed to return it to Hoover.

I don't like the Eurekaluxs because of the low quality and the fact that they are trying to say they are Electrolux which they are not the US Electrolux as we know them .They are plain ole Eurekas nothing more I bought them from a whole sale distributer when I owned my store he wanted me to carry them I was just curious.
Sold them both on eBay they are now gone thank God !!!

Electronics on the hose is over rated I like it simple just a brush roll on off switch and a manual suction relief period . I can step on a switch and bend my ass over to slide a speed control or push a button .

Sorry about that I posted late that night and forgot to list the names. I love the newest gray one with the Wessel PN

They are called Miracle Mate platinum vacuums . A take on Tri Star same bag but sealed not open .I posted a link but its so outdated they used to use a Sebo PN it was horrible on my frieze` carpet always tripping the circuit breaker and shutting down PN . I had that model and they sent me 3 PN and all 3 did the same thing .

Wow, that's one helluva collection! On reply 147, I used to have a similar vacuum like that, only it was grey and called a Hoover Power Drive. I miss it. It was a great self-propelled vacuum I grew up with as a kid that led to my interest in vacuums. Its motor burned out years ago :(

You're welcome, Dan!

Those old 90's Hoovers are my personal favorite Hoovers of all time!

I really tried to like today's Wal-Mart vacuums; however, I just can't stand that they are all made of cheap, creaking plastic. I also hate that modern vac motors are not made to last long like older vacs. Even the 90's plastivac motors lasted quite long, as my old Dirt Devil still works great after 17 years. The same story with cars (yes, I'm a gear head when it comes to cars). I hate cars that are unreliable, and I lean toward cars that are good quality, fun to drive, and/or unique. The Miele S7 leans toward reliability, its performance is astounding on all the carpet, it's unique with that pivoting power head and with those wheels that move underneath the vacuum to flatten the power head to the floor once you press the pedal. That's just plain awesome. I'm stuck with Miele as my favorite brand for household uprights.

That's right Derek

The only new Hoovers I like are Windtunnel and the commercial lines
and I forgot my favorite Hoover bagged is the profile
an improvement over a Sebo . Pure quality from Hoover .

I had the Miele Salsa and didn't like it I thought it was heavy
coming from a Kirby Lover 😝 plus it was the only vacuum I
have that smelled non of my others smell . I uses to be a
Miele fan when I had my store in 2000 .

I love all high end machines most of my collection .
I too love quality just like my cars I prefer Mercedes safe cars
just because I love the quality and placement of controls
plus the fact they invented the automobile and are the
pioneers of all safety items in cars today .
