Beautiful day in magnificent NJ

It's in the 50's today had to pull the convertible out to take it for a drive and have the next vacuum up for its appearence in my amazing and longest ever thread in vacuum lands history .

My Evolution Prestige 6500 this was a machine U gave to my GF but now she has graduated to a KIRBY Sentria II she calls it her Coach vacuum 😁

Hey dan

I haven't posted on here for time but after getting totally consumed in your thread I thought it's about I said something
WOW 👍👍👍😀😀😀
What an amazing collection of cleaners and to have the majority of them brand new is quite an achievement. I would be lyeing if I said I wasn't just a tad envious
I love American vacuums. They always seem to be more exciting than the ones here in the UK
I'd give my right arm and probably leg as well to own a concept or dimension
I do have 2 windtunnels one is from New Zealand and the other is American and they do get used. Every American vacuum I have ever used always seems to perform faultlessly. With 6 cats and a dog that shed constantly there are not many machines that can handle the hair but the American ones never fail. I'm back to using my G5 daily again as the little monsters are losing so much hair.
If you fancy letting any of your vacuums come to live in the UK if be more than happy to offer them a home. I spend a lot of time vacuuming as I'm home all day clearing up after the monsters lol 😂😂 also saves me getting bored of being home all day ( I have M.S and am not as mobile as I used to be).
Just wanted to say as well about the people making negative comments if your proud of what you have and have accomplished in your life then tell the world. I'm really pleased you can fulfil your dreams and hobbies. I don't have much anymore but I'm proud of what I have and despite being envious of your collection lol. I am not jealous of what you have in your life. Keep enjoying it and spending you can't take it with you when you go
👍👍😀😀😸😸😺😺

David wow

You really touched me and I appreciate you chiming in . Yes many on this site hate me for my being able to own every vacuum I have ever dreamed of but they don't bother me one bit . They have something deep within them that makes them angry and unhappy , I can only pray they find happiness and they too one day can have all the vacuums they ever dream of .

I am always very PROUD of my accomplishlments and know many appreciate my thread I have worked very hard for everything and anyone can do it you just have to live a positive life and be kind to others and work hard . I have amazing and loving friends who support me as I support them in all their endeavors .

We only get one life on this earth and I live my life being happy everyday I never get jealous nor I am not offended by those who have more than I do , I am very happy for them and praise their success and hope that one day I may be as successful as they are .

There might be an American vacuum in my collection that would love to relocate to your home I am going through my collection to see which I will keep and which I will let go . Keep using those American Hoovers and that KIRBY nothing beats a KIRBY they are my true love .

VERY NICE Compact C8-like the turbonozzle. With the complete pack-now you need the salesman to demo it!I like the older Compacts over the newer design TriStars. Was an electric powernozzle available for this machine?Like the METAL floor shoe on the turbonozzle with the machine.Much better than the plastic shoes.

Thanx Rex

I would love to have a demo of this machine I'm sure it was awesome .

This machine does not have a PN outlet I guess it was on newer models and yes the metal sole plate on the turbo brush is nice but there are no wheels I am not sure how that would work as I will never use this its a NIB keeper 😝

I too love these older designs over the new ones but I do also love the new style as you know I love every thing that's new .

Hey dan

Hope your well Just read your message
Thank you I was worried I might offend you by chiming in
My thinking is the same as yours. We do only get one life on this earth and we should enjoy each day we are here instead of wasting time bitching about others. I've always said if people were to put as much time, energy, and effort in to their own lives as they do bitching about others they would probably be better off.
( Please note vacuum landers this is not anything aimed at anyone here it's something I have thought all my life so please don't get offended )
It would be fantastic if one of your machines wanted to relocate to my house. When I went to New York years ago I wanted to buy so many vacuums and bring them home but it just wasn't practical.
I went to a vacuum repair shop while I was there and he had quite a few rebuilt machines. I wanted to get a dimension a concept and a commercial with a dust cup. I love the dust cup models, the Hoover power plus we had over here with the dust cup is rare as hens teeth lol I've got more chance of shitting in the queens handbag than I have of picking up a dust cup power plus 😂😂
The hotel we stayed at had the red commercial elites, so one morning I asked the cleaning lady if I could vacuum our room and she said yes omg I was so excited I was like a small child with a new toy 😂😂

The same goes for you. If there is a UK vacuum that you like, if I can get my hands on one I could send it over for you. Unfortunately my own collection is not as large as it used to be.
I'm not sure if my email address shows in my profile if it doesn't let me know and I'll give it to you

Really looking forward to more pics of your vacuums on this amazing thread

😀😀👍👍🎉🎉💎💎

Dan-Interesting that the Compact machine you have doesn't have a powernozzle jack.Would think by mid 70's Compacts would have the powernozzle connector if you wanted to go to a powernozzle.Of the collections I have seen here-yours has to be the largest.-or at least of machines you have shown.Good that you can get them new.I haven't scrounged around here-and in this small town difficult to do in finding NIB older machines.Dealers come and go here.Only ones that have stayed here for any length of time has been Rainbow and Areus-'Lux.If you want other brands in my area-the new Kirby Avalir I am supposed to get at any time-will come from Raleigh.

Look, I know you & I have our issues, & we just don't get along, never have liked each other. Never will, we have our reasons for it, & that's fine.

However, here's what to do about all those haters & frenemies you have out there: Tell them to stuff it! Don't let them hate on you & bring you down. Especially those that have never met or talked to you in person, & judge you for having a opinion online & saying how you really feel. Then, pull your head up a little bit higher than it was before, go forward & move on, & ignore the judgmental scum & think to yourself "I am so much better than them!"

Ya know what, ever since joining the collecting community a few years ago, one thing is for certain: It never ceases to amaze me how many snotty, judgmental, backstabbing, prissy gay drama queens there are in the collecting world! Truly DISGUSTING if you ask me! It sickens me to no end how much we judge others for being online & having an opinion & standing by it....You should be able to say how you feel & still be able to get some respect & keep some decent friends! Like, hey, last time I checked, this is NOT a communist state! And just remember one little thing....if you're religious, when you die, it's YOU that has to answer to God when you meet your maker on the other side for every good & bad thing you did in this life. Don't let them live your life for you & lead life on your own terms. Your REAL FRIENDS will stand by you to the end. You can never please anyone, no matter how hard you try, all you can do is move forward every day & be the best person you know how to be. I learned all this stuff the hard way years ago, & ya know what? I'm glad I learned not to let it affect me so much today. Lord knows I don't want these people bringing me down. If I have only 1 shot at life, then I am living my life the way I want to, so that I can look at myself in the mirror & be happy with myself & what I see staring back at me.

And for all my enemies, frenemies & haters here on Vacuumland that see this post & don't like it: Go yourself!

Thanx for that but one thing NOBODY can or ever will bring me down instead I find it rather hilarious yet sad and understand how people work .

I have a wonderful group of friends who I love dearly and the feeling is mutual I have been blessed many times over and appreciate my life and my friends .

This is the first time this has happened to me And it is because those who have never met me have no idea who I am . I thought this site was to share our passion of collecting yet there are those who say I am a "bragger" because I am sharing my extensive collection with fellow collectors.

I feel bad for people who must hate someone for unknown reasons but know there are issues deep down that I pray they find happiness and replace hate with love .

It is very odd that these Compacts I have do not have a PN outlet I wonder why they did this ?

Thanks for the compliments I have been very lucky to have so many brand new vacuums plus a lot of them being vintage NIB vacuums .

Hope you get your KIRBY soon I am getting both of mine on the 19th my guy ordered extra Sentria II's because he sells a lot to his female customers they see that bag and all comment that it looks like a designer pocketbook Gucci or Coach is what many say it reminds them of .

He's disappointed in the Avalir colors says his female customers won't like it because it's a masculine color (black) .
