Well thank you so much I really appreciate your kind words .

Yes that was disappointing using basically the same box all they did was slapped Diamond edition and in bottom corner a 90th anniversary logo .

I am always interested in NIB Tacony vacuums and maybe Lindhaus .

Enjoy your evening I will private message you .

Don't take this the wrong way, but are you sure you would want to give your girlfriend a vacuum cleaner for a Christmas present? Call me crazy, but you might just get a slap on the face & accused of being sexist & a male chauvinist pig. Most women wouldn't consider a vacuum cleaner from their spouse on Christmas very thoughtful. Perhaps you should just give her the Kirby just out of the blue one day for no reason, if you really want her to have it.

Well, since I sell the things, its something I can grab off the shelf or out of stock and just take over for a quick gift...

I work 7 days a week so when I have time off its not usually spent trying to find gifts for people, just so I can make an appearance. I'm more of a .. to the point kind of person lol.

I've given tandems, dyson cordless, supralites, immaculates and kirbys for gifts.. Its one of those things where I wait and see how peoples houses are during the year and I'll bring a 'helper' for a gift.. This year, thankfully, everyone is stocked on bags and filters for the vacs they received in the last few years. I'm off the hook.

Oh, the tacony heaters make the perfect gift to the person that is *ALWAYS* too cold... Lol.

*phew*!!

Exactly Joshua

That is the best way and because our friends and family know our interest and me also working hard long hours but most don't understand that ;)

Everyone I give cleaning gifts to always tell me ; Dan your the only one that can get away with this and they are always so appreciative knowing it comes from an expert and it wasn't a last minute grab a vacuum easy gift . Plus you and I give quality top of line vacuums not a bissell or other low quality big box store disposable vacuum .

Dan,

Do you have a lot of hard/bare floors? Or are the floors in your garages finished/sealed? This might be up your alley.. I've had pretty good luck with these. Though I carry the Pro versions.

Oh my good gawd - that Lindhaus looks like a great machine - but who in the world has all the time do clean like that AND have to do the extra maintenance. Lindhaus do themselves no favours there suggesting that the machine has "the world's lowest profile" yet at the start of the video you can clearly see the woman is struggling to get the upright under the table and cleaning further, - possibly one reason to why Lindhaus have cut that video a bit at the start.

I like the look of that Lindhaus, but I think if I had home full of hard flooring I wouldn't necessarily want to wash it all of the time with such a bulky upright washer like that. I have lived in a property before that had sealed hard floors and I found either traditional wet mop drying for SMALL areas that could be dried off quickly was far more convenient to me. The bigger areas of the home were steam mop cleaned.

The lindwash would be good for your garage etc, or big open spaces, but like was mentioned earlier, it is awkward using around a lot of furniture.

I've had a prima for over a year... ... There is a lot left to improved.

What is interesting with the lindwash is how it does on sealed concrete .. We sell them primarily for entrance ways with the salt/water/snow, but a few restaurants bought them for kitchen cleaning and two green houses use them on the sealed concrete.

It's kinda cool the product that is out there once you start looking at more commercial things. Powr-flite has a perfect heat extractor that is amazing. I'd love to get one for my self just for car detailing but its a few thousand dollars lol and I don't have a garage yet.

The prima will be a good canister, it will be an awesome replacement for the Pizzazz and Moonlight and I am excited for the new wand system to go to the full-sized canisters. I just wished there were a few things different like how the tools are 'carried' on the unit and how the hose and unit connect...

I'm basing my needs off of Miele's s6 and s8 though.. The Miele just feels more luxurious. There is no reason the Riccar shouldn't feel luxurious, even if it is a low to mid line canister.
