Ok, thanks. Looking forward to the results

I had one of the older Powermate nozzles (10 yrs.) that I used on my in-laws central vac. It was a nightmare to get through their frieze carpet. I hope you have some different carpet to try it on as well. I really want this machine, but not if my housekeeper can't push it through medium pile carpet

Where did you find that "Robot" Rainbow copy? I can't find them anywhere on the internet. Even the owner's manual you have pictured looks similar to the D3's. Was the company's founder an ex-employee of Rexair? I'm so curious

I bought it from a client of mine who I sold a house to they never used it .
They bought it from a D2D sales person while living in
Arizona . The company is based in Mexico I did find them on Facebook .

It's a very good copy I guess because it's an old style they copied Rainbow doesn't care ?

Dan could you let me know how well these preform and what you general opinion is about them? I am looking at buying one, but I would like to see some honest reviews first before plunging and buying one.

Derek I Just plugged it in

And the brush roll doesn't turn on not a good first impression headlights work but that's it .
This was sealed in two boxes and was never opened no damage at all .

It's very heavy and bulky so fat and the dirt container
Is very small . It's very quiet and has a ton of power .

That's it so far :)

Dan -

Do you have the selector switch on the handle in one of the two carpet modes, and not on the hard floor mode?

I am sure you do, but it never hurts to ask - I am also sure you already know he handle has to be reclined for the brush to spin…

I am sorry that you had an issue out of the carton - Maybe the seller knew where was something wrong with it and that was why they sold it so cheep…

Yeah I tried all the above thanks for the thoughts I appreciate it , the seller sold 3 NIB it came sealed in an over box (brown) inside was the box I showed in my pictures .
There was zero signs of it being opened or used I guess it's just a lemon it has a Seven year warranty so I will go through Shark/Europro .
I know that price sounds like it should have been used but I have purchased many NIB items from eBay lots of sellers know not what they have . I bought a Kitchen Aid TOL mixer a year ago for $95.00 NIB I am very lucky shopping on eBay ;)

Dan, if I was in your situation, I wouldn't bother going thru Euro-Pro, expecting them to honor the seven-year warranty. They will most likely tell you that since you bought thru Ebay that you have no warranty, since you purchased thru an unauthorized channel. If you had obtained this vacuum directly from Euro-Pro or had bought it from a department store, & it was NOT a refurbished model, then you would have a case to approach them for warranty repairs.

I am willing to bet it's an issue with a circuit board inside the powerhead that's causing the trouble....the powerhead is obviously receiving power if the lights are working. It could also be a loose micro connector or micro receptacle that's causing the issue, try opening it up & see what you find. What you could do if the vacuum is unrepairable, is to buy the identical model thru a dept store....if you like it, then keep the one you bought on Ebay for a parts machine. If not, then re-sell your Ebay Shark as a parts machine, explaining in the description that the powerhead does not work.

Best of luck....Rob

Half the time when you ask where they got it you can usually say bed bath and they will be like ok. Provided its a model not made specifically for a certain store, I usaully always win.
