Thanks so much Robert I really appreciate this awesome web site without you I'd be just sharing my collection amongst friends and would never have learned as much as I have and met some amazing and kind friends . Keep up the great work on this beautiful web site / fourm .
I knew the day would come! Calem, you owe me 75 casino chips (I only gamble with the finest chips available, from the Grand Sanitronic hotel-casino in Vegas!
You really deserve some kind of reward! Great job on having the longest continuing thread in VacuumLand history. To Robert, Thanks for such an amazing site. As Dan stated, without VacuumLand some of us would have no one to share our interests with, or to gain knowledge and insight in the history of vacuums or the mechanics of them. Wonderful job!
Is the great friends I get to chat with here on Vacuum Land
Thank so much for the kind words I really appreciate it from you and everyone else .
Yes Robert is awesome for bring us this wonderful site .
WOW - Many Congrats on what I am sure has to be the longest thread ever! I enjoy looking at your collection and your narration - as you talk about your collection I see a little boy on Christmas Morning - too sweet. You have an amazing collection and the best part is you enjoy each and every piece.
I don't get to Robot - it says Rainbow - am I missing something funny???
Thanks so much I do enjoy EVERY vacuum I own and always buy what ever piques my interest which usually is almost every brand more so higher end vacuums but I do like some of the store bought machines just as well .
It is like Christmas for me every day as I discover all the machines I forgot I owned over the years.
Also as the UPS FEDEX or USPS delivers me new toys too
That vacuum is a Robot vacuum made in Mexico not a Rainbow but a good copy .
Hugs to you also my friend
Alphonse, the Sanitaire uprights are very nice & great deep cleaners. What keeps me from owning one, or a Hoover upright like it, is the round belts they use. I have had 2 Hoover Convertible's for brief periods of time, & both of them went thru belts like crazy! If I was going to buy a commercial direct-air upright, I would choose Royal....$599 CDN at McHardy Vacuum in London, Ontario, & it's ALL METAL unlike the Sanitaire. And an ordinary flat belt, same belt Kirby uses in fact, so no belt issue on the Royal .
Rob
PS- A new Royal will outclean a Kirby Sentria II for a quarter of the price of the Kirby
