My Electrolux model v

Good day. i have recently found an Electrolux Model V in an extremely good and complete condition. i would like to see the instruction leaflets, boxes and accesories that came with your model V. mine is not cleaned up yet but i have a few photos.

Ok I can throw in two pieces of information. To begin with the hose appears to be from a Goblin Clean Sweep (second picture below). The ends from the original hose, which would have been metal (shown in the third picture - from the net - below), are there though.

Also the series number 527 indicated model 5 - 1927, which would put it as one of the last of the model V (They changed to the model 11 in 1927.

The dusting brush is from a later model of Electrolux (The original would have been wood the same as the one pictured with my model 11 below) and the Floor brush appears to be from a Siroma manufactured machine (Siroma used a triangular nozzle connection with 3 screws while Electrolux used one with only 2, also shown in my picture below)

Apparently, oicanqimuj has contacted everyone with a working email. I give him kudos for enthusiasm, but I don't appreciate the unsolicited query about buying his vac. Not all Americans have deep pockets (or want) ancient vacs sent from foreign countries with no way to inspect/try out.

Contacted me as well. I already have both versions (with removable runners, and without), and mine rune on 120 volts. The one from Chile runs on 240 volts. For $1000, he'd have to deliver it in person to my front door, and convert it to run on American current.

Same story, $1000 (or a reasonable offer), and shipping on top of it. I don’t have one, and would love to add one to my collection, but there’s no way I can (or will) ante up that kind of money for one, especially a 220V model that I couldn’t even use without some kind of converter.....

I would just about give my right eye for one - a 110 volt version anyway. For me, it ranks right up there with the Hoover model O. But how in the world did one ever wind up in Chile? Wonder if he prefers payment in Bitcoin? Lmao

No need for that. You buy a voltage converter unit as a middleman between your outlet and the vacuum.

Any member can view user profiles on the site. He likely used a mail bot program that scans a page for emails and then sends the message in bulk to addresses found.

I never got any message though.

That email address domain he used traces back to the Pontifical Catholic University of Santiago Chile. So likely he's just a college student needing some funds, hence the high price tag on it.
