Thank you

I have a few more brand new in boxes but I can`t get to them as they are put away in my loft. The 65 I bought on eBay a few months ago I paid $100.00 for it and it was used for a very short time it had the original paper bag dated 1958 on it .The guy who sold it said his mothers neighbor died and the family just threw it out . They said it was way in the back of the coat closet no one even remembered the mother owning it . They had a cleaning service so that may be why. The hood must have been replaced since they used to melt . I am not sure how it could have the machine is barely used and looks brand new .

They all look incredible! That supremecy I bought one off of a vac store that had kept it for 25-30 years and never used. Had it behind the counter. He had the matching canister, in fact I stopped today to make him an offer and it was gone!

Nice collection of Convertibles.
I just love that burgandy Supremacy, I'd absolutley love to find one of those.

Hi,

What is the model # of the orange/creme model in your first picture?  I cut and pasted the vacuum picture below....My grandmother had one of those for her upstairs when I was a child...I remember playing with that vacuum...lol

Thanks :)

33!?!?

Oh wow!

You have more Convertibles than I do vacuums in general!

You have 33 convertibles, I have 25 vacuums. Hmmm.

Brian

it is model 4047 it was my Grandmothers upstairs vacuum also . She might have used it 3 times if that . She hated vacuuming and if she did vacuum she used a Kenmore SPV canister . That Hoover is as close to brand new as you can get.
Sam I own now over 300 vacuums I stopped counting when I got to 290 and there at least 25+ if not more lol. I have many NIB older vacuums and NIB high end vacuums. I own every Kirby bnib since the Classic Omega . I own a small Bungalow on 28 acres and I am very good at storing (Hording) vaccuums . You will only see 2 in my living room and about 12 in my loft that you can see the rest are well hidden .

DAN!!!!!! In a word,

"impressive"!  For a "Kirbylover",  you DO have superb HOOVER specimens. You've inspired me to  get mine looking "better". Well done!!

Wow John are they all your Hoovers ?

if they are they put mine to shame lol . They look brand new. If I thought the housing market would improve I would buy a bigger house but my home is paid for and I don`t want to move all of my vacuums .
Sam I have a tiny house and if there`s a will there`s a way to store many Vacuums as most would be shocked how many they would find if something were to happen to me lol , That is one worry I always have .

My Convertibles

Dan,
Thanks for posting all the pictures. No wonder Hoover went of business! Maybe they should have spent some money on improvments instead of just cranking out machine after machine after machine after machine in different colors for years and years. I had no idea they made so many different machines that were all the same except for color and trim. It is a shocker to see them all side by side.
