So today I stopped by the Salvation Army, and as usual wasn't expecting much but when I turned to go down the house/kitchen isle I was surprised to see an Electrolux Guardian and Electrolux Renaissance side by side. I really didn't check out the Renaissance because it looked to be used quite a bit. I can't decide if I should go back and get it, but this is the little beauty I brought home today for $29.99 a little pricey for Salvation Army but beats Ebay!

The Bag

It has the cloth bag which I was shocked to find I didn't know they made them for these models. I'll probably switch to bags though.

Floor Tools

The power nozzle is in great shape. It looked like they used the rug/floor tool on the carpet instead because of the scratches on the rug side.

Wow

30 bucks for a Guardian! I'm jealous! And it looks to be in great shape too. My nicest find at the thrift shop has been a TOL Kenmore Progressive for $29.99, but I sure wish an Aerus Electrolux would find its way to the sales floor for the bargain price of $29.99. Happy birthday and enjoy your new machine!

Guardian

Looks good and is more dependable than the earlier Renny. The rug/floor brush has more value than the thrift store price! The cloth bag would have only been for the salesmans demo.Might have come from a former salesman or a customer could have demanded one.But do switch to good paper bag.Later demo tools included a wand with built in holder for cloth pad to catch and show dirt/dust.--Happy Birthday and Happy Vacuuming.

Thank You!

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! This vacuum is certainly a keeper!! That's also interesting tid-bit on the cloth bag.
