So in a few 2 days I will have been married for 15 years. We have two beautiful boys We have been through high's and lows , She has stood by me when we came close to loosing everything in 2015, and helped me rebuild in 2016 But the reason for this thread is How amazing she is about my Hobby of vacuums.
She puts up with them standing in the house, Taking over the garage.
She understands that I cannot use one vacuum to clean the house but need many for all the different jobs they are good at :)
Most of all she finds vacuums and brings them home for me. I cannot explain how amazing this is, Joanne has found most of my prized vacuums I just think that's awesome

Here are some of my latest machines Joanne has found me.

I think its just great that she supports your hobby and love of vacuum .Even more so brings you some present for you to restore or clean whit its awesome when 2 people can share the same passion its wonderfull of her

It's great that she's in sync enough with your tastes that she can actually find you stuff that you like. That's often a difficulty for me when others try to 'help' me with things I collect. Of course, the message I receive more often surrounds how I should purge myself of the stuff I've accumulated and adopt a more ascetic lifestyle.

Thank you so much guys, I am trully blessed to have such a lovely person to walk beside me in this Journey of life..

Edgar my tastes in vacuums is fairly broad, I love uprights of any vintage , even some of the latest models appeal to me.
I love cylinders too and I have a special fascination with shop vac style vacuums.

Whats more is the fact that I love to restore them, the more battered and bruised ( as is mostly the case here in SA)the better because the more I can make it shine again.

This was a very rare Electrolux Z33 commercial Joanne found me, Its busy been restored. In fact it will probably be ready later tonight

How great that you and Joanne have stuck it out and made things work. How wonderful that you have each other. And, she brings vacuums home! How cool is that?

That Elektrolux is a real beast. It will be fun to see it restored.

Hey, do something great for Joanne for your anniversary. She deserves it!

Sounds like a perfect symbiotic relationship to me.

I know how it feels

My wife has really jumped on board with my collecting, and honostly has found some excellent ones for me. She constantly keeps an eye out and is searching. If she isn't sure I'll like something, she'll send me a pic before she buys it. She's even asked to learn how to do some basic maintinence on them. It really feels good knowing she gets excited getting some cool finds just like I do. Recently she's gound me a hoover convertible, a kirby avalir, and my childhood sweetheart a dirt devil vision swivel glide.

It probably doesn't hurt your symbiotic relationship that YOU do the vacuuming and she does not. She's also a smart cookie!
